I'm Paul Chapman — photographer, filmmaker, and founder of Noodle Photography.
Over 13 years ago I founded Noodle Photography in Singapore, where we quickly built a reputation as one of the region's most trusted specialists in international school photography and film. In 2024, the business relocated to the UAE, and we now work with leading international schools in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as clients across the broader Middle East and Asia.
What makes Noodle Photography different is simple: we work exclusively in the international school sector. That focus means I understand your world ; the rhythm of the academic year, the sensitivities around working with young people, the pressure on marketing teams to produce compelling content on tight timelines. I don't need to be briefed on what an IB programme looks like, or why EYFS photography demands a completely different approach to sixth-form marketing imagery. That experience is built in.
My background in multimedia production spans more than two decades, beginning in London where I spent years working in AV and visual communications before photography became my primary discipline. That technical foundation shows up in everything I do — from the quality of light I work with on a performance shoot, to how I structure and edit a five-minute school brand film.
I've worked with international schools across Singapore, the UAE, Laos, Greece and beyond - shooting everything from intimate EYFS classroom moments to large-scale performing arts productions with hundreds of students on stage. I was the official photographer for the International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA) at their global events, and I am a proud partner of the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) organisation.
I'm now based in Abu Dhabi with expanding operations in Dubai, which puts me ideally placed to serve schools across both emirates, with a response time, local knowledge and commitment to the relationship that a remote photographer simply can't match.
